Everybody loves a story!

The greatest movies of all time have behind them a story line that make us laugh, make us cry, fill us with suspense and tap into our emotions. Drama, suspense, thrill, adventure, challenge or love is the process that film makers and storytellers use as a means to move the heart.

The really good ones fill us with awe and wonder; they cause us to consider our own lives, leaving us with a sense of satisfaction that the cause of justice has been served. Some stories that are well told have the power to assert an influence so strong that it can change our lives

Often the most unlikely characters end up being the most powerful leaders, exerting the most moving influence, averting disaster and saving the day.

J.K. Rowling introduces us to a young bespectacled orphan Harry Potter with his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley and the world of Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardry. J.J.R.Tolkien brings together the most unlikely group and faces them with an almost impossible task of defeating the evil Lord Sauron in Lord of the Rings – in these and other great stories the leadership qualities of each character unfolds as the story is told.

The age old debate regarding leadership, “Are leaders made or born?” is a mute argument to us at exlr8.  All students that pass through exlr8 will discover their story is valid and powerful, powerful enough to change the world if each one will dare to believe it.
